Ok, folks. We'll be honest! We were both crazy busy graduate students at Virginia Tech at the time and turned to an app to help us out! Our first date took place at a coffee shop close to campus. Let's just say, it was love at first sight as multiple dates ensued afterwards despite Ryan wearing pink crocs and Deanna ordering an XXL coffee at 8pm.

We like to collect rocks as a fun reminder of our past adventures. At the top of South Twin Mountain, which was day two of our three day backpacking trip in New Hampshire, Ryan found an actual rock (to add to our collection) as well as a new rock (aka the ring) and surprised Deanna with his discovery! We were so lucky and grateful to be accompanied by our friends (Phil and Theresa) who captured this magical moment!
