FAQs

Below are answers to a few commonly asked questions. Please check back periodically for updates.
Question

What Time Should I Arrive to The Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 2:00pm, but please plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early in order to find your seat prior to the ceremony's start.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I DO IN BETWEEN THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION?

Answer

We understand that there is a significant time gap between the ceremony and reception. Please feel free to come dressed down to the church and use that time to get ready!!

Question

IS THE RECEPTION VENUE OUTDOORS?

Answer

No! The entire reception will take place indoors, except for the small outdoor patio that you may choose to step out onto for fresh air or a celebratory cigar ;-)

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE/GUEST?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name will be listed on your invitation and should appear when RSVPing on our site. Otherwise, we would love to keep our special day as intimate as possible.

Question

ARE MY KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We have very limited space at the reception, and had to prioritize the invitation of children to those in the bridal party or traveling from far distances to celebrate with us. Any children invited to the reception will either be listed on your invitation directly or when you go to RSVP on our site (see next FAQ for more info on this). Please feel free to bring any little ones along to the Ceremony. Otherwise, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Question

HOW DO I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, you can click on the RSVP tab on this website and enter your full name. You and all of the invited guests in your party/household should populate, and you'll be able to accept or decline on their behalf. Please feel free to reach out if you are having issues with our website or are unsure how to operate the RSVP tab.

Question

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 30th! We will unfortunately not be able to accommodate anyone who does not get back to us by the above date.

Question

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

We want our friends and family to dress up with us! We are requesting formal/black-tie optional attire for our wedding day. This includes a tuxedo (or dark suit), mid-to-floor length evening gown, or a formal jumpsuit.

Question

ARE THERE ANY COLORS I SHOULD AVOID?

Answer

We are not requiring anyone to avoid wearing any color other than white (this includes adjacent colors such as cream and ivory). The bridal party will be in all black. Some have chosen to avoid it on their own, but it is not a request of ours.

Question

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

YES! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you :-)

Question

IS THERE PARKING?

Answer

Yes. There are large parking lots located at both the ceremony AND reception sites.

Question

IS THERE A ROOM BLOCK?

Answer

Yes! Please see the accommodations tab for more information on the room block in place at "The Hub" and other nearby hotel options.

Question

IS THERE AN AFTER PARTY?

Answer

There is no official after-party in place post-reception. Please feel free to keep the party going elsewhere at your own discretion.

Question

ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?

Answer

We understand that our big day falls on the same week as the 2024 presidential election. While this can be an exciting time for political discussion and debate, please leave it at the door. This day is about celebrating love - so let’s do just that.
