Athens International Airport is the most convenient airport to fly into as it is only a 50 minute drive to Chalkida. There are car rentals available at the airport as well as currency exchange stores. Information on public transportation is available on the airports website. The bride and groom will be staying at John’s Hotel. The hotel is located off the Chalkida boardwalk. The rooms here do not have a sea view, however, all of the rooms are very modern and newly renovated. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant with a bar and cafe. Any rooms booked for 4+ days will receive a 15% discount. To receive this discount, guests must call or email the hotel directly and mention “Dean and Lisa’s Wedding”.

Lucy Hotel

Lucy Hotel is located on the Chalkida boardwalk. The hotel has waterfront rooms with a beautiful view of Chalkida’s Euripus Strait and the city’s ancient sliding bridge. Guests here can enjoy view of the the water while dining at the hotels restaurant and bar/cafe.

Paliria Hotel

The Paliria Hotel is centrally located on the Chalkida boardwalk. The rooms here are older, however the sea view rooms will give guests a beautiful view of the Evripos Strait. The hotel has a sea view restaurant as well as a cafe/lounge with outdoor seating next to the water.

If guests would prefer a beachside resort stay, the Brown Beach Chalkida is a fantastic option. The resort is only a 10 minute drive from the city of Chalkida. Guests can enjoy a full service pool and private beach, as well as spa services, tennis and volleyball courts, gym and kids club. The resort also has a pool side and ocean view restaurant.

Alykes beach is a 5 minute drive from the resort and there are daily shuttles provided to and from the beach.

The Almira Mare hotel is a 10 minute drive from Chalkida’s center. It is located next to Agios Minas Bay and is a few short steps away from a beautiful sandy beach. The hotel has a large pool and also a smaller pool area suitable for children. There is a tiki bar next to the pool and guests can enjoy full service as they relax on the sun loungers. The Agios Minas area has a number of restaurants next to the water which are famous for their fresh seafood. It is a nice place to stay for a more relaxing vacation.
