Thames Street is the center of Newport's downtown and waterfront area. It is lined on each side with bars, restaurants, shops and historic homes. Some of our favorite places include; O'Briens Pub, Nitrobar, Benjamin's Seafood, and more! The Newport Blues Café and One Pelham East are great for live music and drinks, however they may have a cover charge.
Head to Bowen's wharf for a mix of bars, restaurants and boutiques. You must try Diego's for a delicious margarita and The Black Pearl for a cup of clam chowder! There is also plenty of Sailing options and the Ferry to Jamestown, if you're feeling adventurous!
Enjoy Newport’s 3.5-mile Cliff Walk for the views and those who like adventure.
Experience classic New England coastal dining, featuring fresh seafood, cocktails, and views of Narragansett Bay.
One of our favorite places to eat seafood. A must try!
There are several beaches just outside of downtown Newport. Easton's (First Beach), Sachuest Beach (Second Beach), and Third Beach are some of our favorites and are all open to the public.
Newport Vineyards offers locally-sourced food with estate-grown wines and fresh locally made beer.
