We know this is really last minute and probably the most spontaneous thing we’ve done in a while. We originally planned to get married next year in OBX but we just couldn’t wait to start spending forever together. I thought it would be special to get married on my parents wedding anniversary which is 10/10. There is a spiritual significance to 10 October – it unlocks a powerful gateway of energy that is all about taking steps in the right direction. The number 10 also signifies wholeness in numerology . The 10th happens to fall on a Tuesday so we totally understand if you can’t get off work. We know you will be there in spirit.

Ed and I knew each other for about 10 years but reconnected in April 2021 when we were both just got out of unhealthy relationships. We started out building a friendship that was mostly phone calls and texting. I was very apprehensive about letting someone in again and getting my heart broken. He was very patient. We started out by hanging out with some friends at a High Voltage show (AC/DC cover band) in June 2021. We both have a love for live music. The next time we got together was at a Shinedown concert, a favorite band of ours, but of course it was not a date. We probably had about 5 or 6 times we did things together that I said "this is not a date". One of my favorite dates early on was at our picnic at Quiet Waters Park where he picked me up in his cute little, ocean blue convertible. Prior to the date I kept asking what I should bring and the answer was just yourself and that beautiful smile. I was amazed at what he has prepared for us. It was pretty much how I would have done things. The more we got to know each other the more it was apparent that we had so many things in common. Ed and I have the same exact birthday (he's 4 hours older) and I truly believe we were made for each other. I have never experience love like this before. We fell in love with each other 24 hours apart (him first). He fell in love with me at a music festival on 9/25/21 and I fell in love with him the next night at a Guns and Roses show. We continue to fall more in love everyday and we are so excited to say "I do"
