My Favorite Memory is when we were dating still and at the time we would go to the movies almost every Tuesday. On this specific day we went to go see The Photograph ( first & last chick flick ). We got through the movie cried a little bit, but at the end there was this song that came on called Comfortable by H.E.R, and at the time we hadn’t heard it but as I’m listening I’m thinking to myself like this is truly how he makes me feel, especially in times when I don’t really know what’s going on or can’t explain it, he’s always there reassuring me. As the credits were rolling i got up and asked him to dance with me, yes in the movie theater and yes there were people still in there. No questions asked he got up and we danced, at that time he probably didn’t understand how much that meant to me, but at that point in our relationship I needed to know that even if it didn’t make sense to him, or if it looked corny, that he would still do things with me or for me that meant even the slightest to me, it was at that moment I knew for sure oh this man might have a chance. As you can see a couple years later he’s still holding it down.

The first time I asked you to be my girlfriend. We had been dating for 6 months and even though it felt like we were locked in, it’s not official til it’s stamped. I remember we were sitting and talking. I changed the subject mid sentence and was like “I just asked you to be my gf”, it was so funny because I hadn’t said that but you was like huh? Did he really lol but I just repeated it till you got the point. It was so crazy because my hands we so sweaty from being nervous. All of that, with a yes, I was so happy to become the luckiest man in the world.
