Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! We are asking that our guests wear semi-formal attire. Ladies should wear cocktail length dresses and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or sports coat, no jeans, please! Keep in mind that we are getting married on a marsh in Northern Florida in April. It could be hot. The wedding ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside and outside.

Where should we stay?

Answer

If you would like to be on property, we suggest staying at the Omni in the room blocks we reserved. If you prefer to stay closer to town, we suggest booking at the Springhill Suites or Marriot. Make sure to stay under our room block for a discounted rate. If you decide to stay outside of the Omni you will have access inside the gates on the day of the wedding.

Where is Amelia Island?

Answer

It is north of Jacksonville, Florida and South of Savannah, Georgia ( near the Florida / Georgia line )

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Invitations strictly include the individuals invited to the wedding ceremony and reception. However, if you have specific questions regarding invitations please text the bride or groom for clarity.

Does the Omni hotel allow pets?

Answer

Yes! The Omni allows dogs (50lbs weight limit) . However, you will need to call because there are specific rooms in the Sunrise tower dedicated to invidious bringing their pets. There is a $200 non-refundable pet deposit.

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we realize children are a blessing, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event! Please reach out to Belle or Davis if you require a babysitter.

How do you get to the wedding venue?

Answer

GPS will not take you straight to the locations. To enter the plantation, you will go through a security gate. Please tell them you are here for the Lovell wedding! From the security gate, take your first right onto Marsh Lagoon Rd. You will go over the bridge and take a left at the stop sign onto Mash Creek Rd. Keep right on this road for .2 miles and then take a slight right to continue on Marsh Creek Rd for .5 miles. Look for a Walker's Landing sign on your right.
