I remember the day I met Davis vividly… I had just gotten into work with my untouched coffee in hand. He throws open the door and says “Hello I’m Davis! What can I do to help?” My response was to grunt that the hallway could be blown and the stalls cleaned and off he went with the energy and spirit of a 1,000 suns. There my energy went with Mr. Enthusiasm, I downed my coffee and that was that. As we grew to know each other more, and he laughed at my jokes, we opened up about life and dating ironically in a nasty stinky goat stall. Then I told him he should watch Squid Games and that was that. We started talking daily and I began falling in love. We already both shared a fondness for games, fantasy, books, movies, dragons and more. He showed me how much fun legos are and I showed him how to care for animals so well that they will live forever. From there we’ve had some crazy awesome dates like axe throwing, line dancing, game nights, seen countless movies on the big screen in Fayetteville, and more. We started building our engagement ring in October and he popped the big question at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens on 12/18/22. Of course I said yes but not before I snatched the ring out of the box and put it on my own finger! Davis being the amazing man that he is was fine with me jumping the gun but did say that on our wedding day he gets to put the ring on my finger.
