We connected through Instagram, and little did we know, it would turn out to be the greatest stroke of fate for both of us. From the moment we met face-to-face, we became utterly inseparable. Now, here we are, living our best life in Arizona, with our adorable son Sam and our beloved furry companions by our side.

Almost every anniversary we go on a hike, and most of the time we go on the same hike we did for our first date. For our 5th anniversary, we decided to do just that. We also planned to go to dinner but i thought I would wait to get ready after the hike. Its a hard hike for me and I knew i would be red in the face and probably melt all my make up off. It was a random 80 degrees in January! It took us forever to make it to the end as I was huffin & puffin away. My goal was to get to the top and sit down in the shade to cool off! After a little sitting Ty asked if I wanted my gift. I said "no" as his was in the car. But then I said of course! Ty pulled out this beautiful painting he did for me (also not uncommon) and then told me to turn it over. On the back was “Will you Marry me?” And I looked up and there he was on a knee with a beautiful ring. I said yes!! Then Ty yelled “Did you get that!” And the random guy, who was the only person up there, popped up and said "yea!" Noah, a friend of Ty’s, had been waiting forever for us. Opps! Thanks Noah! Surprise proposal and he even had a photographer to capture it all, So surreal!! My face was bright red and I was sweatin but it was so special and Ty did this in such a perfect “us” way!
