WHAT'S THE BEST AIRPORT TO FLY INTO?
Answer
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland Airport (OAK) have direct flights from most major cities and are both ~90 minutes from Dawn Ranch. Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa (STS) is a regional airport only ~20 minutes from the resort with direct flights from LA (and connecting flights from most east coast cities). There is parking onsite if you are planning to rent a car.

How do we get to/from airports?
Answer
If you're flying into SFO or OAK, renting a car is probably the most cost-effective option. It's an easy drive (about an hour on Highway 101, then ~30 minutes through wine country). Getting a Lyft/Uber from any airport to Dawn Ranch should be easy, but Lyft/Uber is not always readily available once you're in Guernville. If you need transport to the airport, Dawn Ranch's front desk team can help arrange a taxi or car service for you ahead of time. You can also schedule with one of the local services: R2T2 (707-849-6802) or Bill's Taxi Services (707-869-2177).

Yes! There will be parking onsite for anyone staying the weekend, or just coming for the wedding on Saturday.

What's the weather like?
Answer
It can be pretty warm during the day (mid-80s), with cooler mornings and evenings (mid-60s). There's no humidity so summer nights often feel chilly - don't forget to pack layers like a light jacket or sweater!

As much as we love your little ones (and pups!), this is an adults-only weekend. We recognize that some of you may need to travel with your kids, so reach out if you need AirBnB and/or child care recommendations.

There is WIFI available throughout Dawn Ranch. Overall cellphone reception can be spotty in Guerneville.

What is this float the river thing?
Answer
A NorCal summer staple! Dawn Ranch has a private dock on the beautiful Russian River, so we'll be shuttling everyone a few miles up and floating back to the property (think lazy river - no rapids!). We'll provide floats, snacks, and adult beverages. Don't forget sunscreen!
