Maid of Honor
No one could ask for a better sister. Lauren's kindness, selflessness, wit, and sassiness just makes her a treat to be around. From playing with our Barbies for hours, to building forts, making mud pies, and fairy houses, to watching Lauren become the best nanny, pie maker, and now fiancee, it has just been a blessing to grow up side by side. I cannot believe she will be moving to Washington soon to start her life there with her soon-to-be husband! Congratulate her at the wedding, she and Alex will have tied the knot June 4th!
Best Man
I’ve been encouraged by him in tough times, shared plenty of joys with him in good times, and been thoroughly entertained by him for every second in between. No matter what stage of life, time zone, or locale we find ourselves in, Ryan has always been a great friend. Cheers to being the best dungeon master, best vault hunter, and best best man a guy could ask for.
Bridesmaid
From the first day of college at the Get Awkward Party, to hiding under her bed to surprise her for her birthday, "Jen from Facebook" has been every definition of a best friend. For the last 9 years, Jen has been the one I turn to for questions about faith, for restaurant recommendations, for a listening ear and even better advice, and for endless dinner and craft nights. Look for this girl at the wedding: she will amaze you with her compassion and patience and solid selfie skills.
Groomsman
Jacob was my very first friend - we go all the way back to preschool! We naturally gravitated towards each other as we both have ridiculous senses of humor. I can’t begin to count how many awesome memories I have of all the camping trips, skateboard sessions, and live events we’ve gotten to experience together. It was special to not only grow up together in school, but also in church. Thanks for being a faithful friend for all these years. And congratulations on becoming a newlywed yourself!

A certain type of friendship develops after only meeting a total of three times and then deciding to go to Ireland and Scotland together for almost two weeks. Honestly, there is no one else I'd rather hike to see Fairy Pools in the freezing cold rain with, eat fish and chips every night, and drive hundreds of miles on the left hand side of the road. If you are looking for an amazing travel partner and adventure buddy who will make you laugh until you cry, look no further than Katie! Her humor and kindness have meant the world to me.
Groomsman
Maybe the person who has made me laugh until I cry the most. But Josh isn’t just funny, he’s also one of the most thoughtful and kind people you will meet. If you’re friends with Josh, you’ve got a friend for life. We also share a mutual obsession of basically all sports, and we’ve engaged in many passionate discussions….so if I end up spending more than half of my own wedding reception trying to persuade Josh why the Cubs will win another World Series before the White Sox, I apologize in advance.

I met Maddie the first day of classes at PLNU, and we've been best friends ever since. We changed our majors together, always studied for every test together, and Maddie was the sole reason I passed Organic Chemistry (actually every Chemistry class honestly.) She taught me how to play soccer, how to bake bread, and how to just be a more curious, and better person. We've had the opportunity to road trip through Croatia together, live in Ireland, and explore San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Madison, WI. It's been over two years since we've reunited, and I can't wait to have her at the wedding!
Groomsman
Shawn is my go to adventure buddy. We’ve trekked up the Sierra Nevadas and down the Grand Canyon. We’ve been to a Final Four, a Super Bowl, and a Rose Bowl. Thanks for just being a great friend and doing life alongside me. Shawn also taught me that you can buy industrial sized bags of candy on the internet, and that has to count for something.
Bridesmaid
Leah is one my oldest, dearest, and most talented friends. Since 5th grade we have had so many memories together: running track, gingerbread cookie making parties, attending Mormon dances, various theme park trips, and attending numerous Farmers Markets. Watching Leah blossom into one of the most talented musicians ever has been such a gift. Listen for her infectious laugh at the wedding, and yes, her hair is that pretty.

When I found out I had been randomly paired to become college roommates with some dude from New Jersey, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Roommates by chance, friends by choice (cheesy and true). We’ve lived together at such classic locales as ‘The Lion’s Den’ and the ‘Drake Dungeon’. Greg also helped to broaden this mild-mannered midwestern kid’s horizons by introducing me to life in New York City. Greg’s friendship has been a steadying presence in my life, and I’m thankful for him.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is such a beautiful person inside and out. She is just as ready to save someone's life (literally, she's an ER nurse), as she is to grab coffee and take a long walk with her dog. She is one of the most insightful and intelligent people I know. Our friendship stems from our college days: from studying hours on end in our gorgeous dorm room on the ocean, to taking trips in her car to the caf, to mission trips building churches in Mexico, rock climbing, and many sushi and Starbucks runs. I am so grateful for her friendship.
Groomsman
I admire Ricardo because he is one of the most passionate people I know. He’s always striving to be better, and I’ve been inspired by his attitude. Once you get to know Ricardo, you appreciate how intentional he is about valuing friendships, relationships, and experiences over material possessions. Ricardo has also taught me many sick jiu-jitsu moves. He stopped teaching me only when he realized the student had become the master. Unfortunately for him it was far too late, as I went on to become the longest reigning champion in Drake Dungeon and Monroe Manor history.
Officiant
What a spark of joy this girl is. Everything she does, she does so well. She is who I go to for teaching advice, relationship advice, cooking recipes, game ideas, difficult theology questions, and just real and authentic friendship. Something speaks deeply to Courtney's personality that she is willing to go on 8 mile walks with me! David and I have really admired Courtney and her husband Austin's marriage and commitment to Christ. We are so excited for them to marry us!
Officiant
Austin is as authentic as they come. He's also just a great hang, eager to discuss everything from Lemonade stock (it's tanking!), to blockchain technology, to the Laker's bench unit. Becoming friends with Austin and his wife Courtney has been a ton of fun. Seeing the way they do marriage has only made McKenna and I more excited for our wedding, and we could not be more honored to have them officiate for us!
