Over the Years
Although David and I didn't meet until high school, we lived only 10 minutes away from each other growing up. David was supposed to start first grade at Queen of Angels (my elementary school) until his family suddenly moved to Canada. He didn't come back to Georgia until middle school and when we finally met in high school, we instantly clicked. It felt like we had known each other for years, and we became best friends.
After losing touch after high school, David walked into my favorite coffee shop in Kennesaw and saw me across the room. We started talking and picked up right where we left off. We have been together ever since. Later we found out- the owner of the shop is a Blessed Trinity parent (our Alma Mater) and had a Catholic priest come in and bless the coffee shop building. God has certainly had His hand over our relationship. He kept us apart and led us back together when the time was right.
