Head to the Public Market and get some cheese curds/whips/spread from America’s Dairyland. We also highly recommend walking down the Riverwalk and stopping at one of the many restaurants in the area. You can also rent kayaks right next to the public market.
Rent a Bublr bike and ride through Lakeshore State Park, Veteran’s Park, or up the Oakleaf trail. You can spend an afternoon on Bradford Beach, or otherwise explore the shores of Lake Michigan.
Welcome to Brew City. Check out some of our favorite breweries: Lakefront Brewery (best tour, best cheese curds in MKE) and MKE Brewing Company (great beer, all-you-can-drink).
Grab a bite to eat on Old World Third Street and see MKE’s Deer District, the home of the World Champion Milwaukee Bucks and King Giannis, First of His Name.
Erin Hills and Whistling Straits are both within driving distance of downtown Milwaukee. With a bit of advanced planning, you can set up a tee time at those spectacular courses while you are in town.
Benelux: Classic brunch spot, “the Milwaukean” is one of the best Bloody Mary’s in town. Get a seat on the roof, if possible. Dan Dan: New age Chinese food, great cocktails. Dorsia: Try the homemade pasta flights
