We are getting married!

Bobbie & Dave met through a mutual friend. Over the course of 6 months, they spent a lot of time hanging out together and building a friendship. Finally, Dave asked Bobbie on a date. Within the first 30 minutes, they knew - this is it! (Last first kiss: 7/12/2022)

Bobbie and Dave went on a trip to Vegas, one of their favorite places to visit (I believe this was the 3rd trip). The second night, Dave had arranged a surprise dinner for Bobbie, and didn't tell her where it would be until the last minute. Getting ready for dinner, Dave seemed to be a bit nervous, changing clothes a few different times. They took an Uber from the NY NY hotel to the Strat - what should have been a 15 minute ride turned into almost 40! Dave was sweating and super anxious, saying they had to be on time or the dinner would be canceled. When they got to the Strat (a good 20 minutes late), Dave said they had to meet the concierge at the top of the escalator. The concierge whisked them through security and up to an observation deck overlooking the strip. Bobbie thought this was all a bit weird. (Did all dinner guests get this same white glove service? Was everyone given the chance to stop at the observation deck on the way to dinner?) While enjoying the view, Dave got down on one knee and proposed. He had arranged for champagne, roses, and a professional photographer - all in their own private observation suite. They eventually made it to the restaurant (with a rotating view of the Strip), and enjoyed a fabulous dinner with lots of champagne! Later he shared that if we had been more than 30 minutes late, they would have canceled the whole thing on him! I guess that explained the nerves!
