Maid of Honor
I met Alayna in 7th grade English class. Over the course of our 25 year friendship, Alayna has taught me how to make friends, snowboard, take tequila shots and basically have a good time in life. There’s no telling where this introvert would be without her gregarious BFF!
Bridesmaid
Alayna and I became friends during 7th grade band at Keller Middle School. Our friendship has grown from braces, bangs and late nights out to middle of the night texts, awake with a fussy baby and facilitating video calls between our daughters as we watch them become friends too. I am so excited Alayna found her person and I am excited to be a part of their special day.
Bridesmaid
I met Alayna just a few years ago in 1984. In fact, we've been friends since before we were born, high-fiving through our mothers' wombs as they attended our dads' work functions with us in utero. When we finally made it Earth side we bonded over early morning Nintendo sessions, Preemie Cabbage Patch Dolls and Water Babies. Our friendship almost didn't survive the time I nearly poked her ear drum out with a Q-tip, but here we are thirty-something years later and I'm so very honored to get to stand by her side as she marries an amazing man. Our friendship has been a constant throughout my life, and something that I cherish. What a joy it has been to watch David and Alayna's relationship grow and I am so excited for the many years of friendship and family get togethers we have ahead of us!
Bridesmaid
I met Alayna through Aaron. I grew up with two brothers and no sisters, so to marry into a family where I gained a sister was just icing on the cake. Although, we don't get to see Alayna as often as we would like when we do, we pick up right where we left off. I'm extremely lucky to have a sister in law that's not just an 'in-law' but a friend. I can't wait to see David and Alayna get married and continue to create a wonderful life together. Cheers!
Man of Honor
I met David in the summer of 2001. I had just got out of class and was invited to a party at the SigEp house. There I met a guy with cargo shorts and a puka-shell necklace playing volleyball. We became friends that day. He would later be one of my best friends and stood at my wedding as my best man.

I met David my last year of college at UTA but I moved out of state soon after. You might assume that distance would make it harder to keep friendships alive, but it probably made it stronger. We’ve been to Mexico, Croatia, Germany, Tahoe, LA, FL, and NY together numerous times and even hiked to the top of the highest peak in the lower 48! He has been there for me for my toughest moments as well as the best and am privileged to call him my brother. Živeli!
Flower Child
Clara is the light of our lives. She wakes up with a smile and is always hungry. She loves learning about her surroundings and Clara never forgets a name or face. Clara enjoys playing with her babies and bossing the dog. When she isn't busy reading books, she also enjoys helping her momma cook dinner and prepare snacks.
Flower Girl
Emersyn, is the daughter of Nick and Kelci Berger. Nick and David have been friends for 15 years and we’ve loved getting to know Alayna over the last 5 years. It has been an absolute joy watching Emersyn and Clara grow up together. When Emersyn isn’t painting or singing you can find her reading dinosaur books in her room. She doesn’t know a stranger and loves to make others smile!
Flower Girl
Callie is the daughter of Alayna's bridesmaid, Amy Childress. She is one tough cookie thanks to her two older brothers but loves all things girly. She is 4 months older than Clara and already loves requesting to video call her little bestie. We are so excited to watch their friendship blossom as they grow up together! ❤️
Flower Girl
Brianne Buckmeyer is the five-year-old daughter of long-time friend Lindsay Buckmeyer and husband Brian. Brie is a natural performer with a contagious smile. She loves to sing and dance. Her favorite color is purple and in her spare time, you may find her on the hunt for pirate treasure.
Flower Girl
Leah Buckmeyer is the eight-year-old daughter of Alayna’s high school friend Lindsay Buckmeyer and her husband Brian. Leah loves art, dance, and music. Her favorite color is blue, she loves to play softball, and in her spare time, you may find Leah sorting through her extensive jewelry collection.

Parker is the son of John and Tifani, Clara’s “cousin”, and “Uncle” David’s favorite little guy. When he’s not out being silly and making everyone laugh, he’s at home testing his new language on Mom and Dad (while they secretly Google everything on the side). It’s been a joy watching Clara grow up through Parker’s eyes. She went from “baby Clara” to “baby Clara can talk now!” and “baby Clara isn’t a baby any more!” We sure hope they stay close and become the best of friends, watching out for each other, just as their dads have done for the past (almost) 20 years now.

Alex’s daddy, Marcos, has been one of Alayna’s best friends since she first moved to Dallas. Alex loves giving his baby sister, Chloé big hugs and showing her how to crawl. He enjoys playing with his kitties and giving them lots of treats. His favorite things are reading and the color yellow. When Alex was little, Clara gave him one of his first hugs when he met her and Miss Edith!
Officiant
Alayna has had the absolute privilege of having me as an older brother for 38 years. I was there to comfort her with laughter when she got in trouble, and say "I told you so" when things didn't go her way. What more could any sister want?
