Our love story starts like most modern couples, with two right swipes! We were both coming out of relationships and our friends were pushing us to "get back out there." After about 2 weeks of Corey being VERY persistent to meet, we had our first date at a restaurant on the water in downtown Salem and the rest is history! Fast forward 5 years, and we live together(through a pandemic), have pets together, and I'm ready for a ring. I decided to take matters into my own hands and planned an anniversary trip for us at Pawtuckaway State Park in NH. I had this plan to propose at the top of the water tower but Corey didn't bring enough water and we had to cut our hike short. While hiking back, I got heat stroke and after about 5 miles, we finally made it back to our campsite! While relaxing at the campsite, I was upset that I ruined the whole proposal. After talking a little bit, I decided to tell Corey my plan of proposing and how I was sorry I ruined it. He proceeded to look at the ring box and said repeatedly "That's a nice box." After what felt like an eternity, I asked Corey what he thought and he said "Yeah, sure lets do this!" After a 2 year engagement, we are so excited to finally get married in front of all of our family and friends! Thank you all so much for being such an integral part of our lives! We love you all and can't wait to celebrate!
