We’re getting MARRied!!!

Michael and Lindsay met unashamedly on a dating app called Hinge. Michael was quick to ask Lindsay on a date and despite Michael’s cheesy pick up line, Lindsay said yes! The plan was to meet for coffee one Sunday evening after Lindsay returned from a church retreat. Tragically, Lindsay got a little too competitive in a heated game of capture the flag at the retreat causing her to cancel their date the night before due to a badly broken leg. Lindsay went on to have surgery and start the long road to recovery, but Michael continued to pursue her and patiently waited until he could take her on a date. On December 5th, 2023, they finally got their date! Lindsay showed up on crutches and even asked Michael’s help fixing her crutches while on the date. Lindsay knew Michael was a great guy by the way he cared for her when she was broken. The two hit it off and continued to go on several dates after that! There was a sweetness about those dates because Lindsay couldn’t really do too much due to her leg, so the two of them really got to know one another and spent a lot of time talking and asking each other questions. Fast forward to today, Lindsay’s leg has healed and the two of them love going on walks together. Michael popped the question on August 28, 2024 and asked Lindsay if she’d forever join him walking through this crazy life together, and she said Yes!!
