We're Getting Married!

As foodies, we bonded over our love of Mexican food one day sitting in the dinning hall of Whitworth University early on freshman year. We were good friends and hung out in the same friend group for several months. We shared many common interests which led to us spending a lot time together. Our friendship grew and Ben eventually had enough courage to ask Taylor on date. Like all great love stories, Taylor said "No." and proceeded to ignore Ben for the next month. Taylor then realized she made a mistake. We began sparking up conversation again. We decided to try being more than friends and soon started dating. On our first date, Ben got severe food poisoning and threw up immediately after dropping Taylor off at her dorm. The rest is history.

After 4 years of long distance and 2 years of COVID with very few visits, Ben was finally able to move to Phoenix. Along with buying a house and moving across country, Ben decided it was the perfect time to get engaged. He planned the most romantic proposal ever at one of their favorite hot spring in Idaho. The staff had put roses and Champagne out for them before they arrived. In classic Taylor fashion, she thought they were in the wrong pool and was confused by the Champagne and roses. Ben was trying to propose but she keep asking SOOO many questions he could not finish his little speech and he even forgot to ask her to marry him. Even with all of that, they had an amazing weekend in Boise which include steaks on hot rocks and snowshoeing.
