Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 2pm. Please plan on being in the church by 1:45pm. The Orthodox wedding service starts in the main doors of the church so you will not be able to enter once the ceremony starts except through the side door

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is no designated parking lot for the church however there is plenty of street parking. Please observe signage, avoid parking in driveways, intersections, by fire hydrants and stop signs. Please be courteous to our neighbors! There will be a designated parking area at the ranch.

Why are there two dates on the invitations?
Answer
Due to the distance between the church and reception venue, we have decided to split the festivities into two days. The ceremony followed by a wine and cheese hour will take place on Sunday at St. John's and the reception will take place on Monday at Secret Passage Ranch!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
There is an English language service 8am-10am and a Russian language service 10:30am-12:30pm. This is unrelated to the wedding however you are welcome to attend if you want. There will be a wine and cheese hour to mingle following the church ceremony in the parish hall and on church grounds.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The event is a semi-formal/formal dress code. Please wear appropriate church attire for the ceremony. The reception is being held in a barn with old uneven wooden floors, please be mindful of footwear choices

We ask that only those invited attend. If you need a +1, please reach out to us and we will accommodate if possible

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes! We have made sure to invite your kids as well but if we happen to have missed someone, please reach out to us!

Yes. Please check out the travel page for hotel details! If you wish to find your own, the towns closest to the ranch are Front Royal, VA and Strasburg, VA
