Where is Lyle, WA?

Answer

Lyle is a small town on the Columbia River, about 10 minutes East of White Salmon, WA. Driving time from Portland, OR is about an hour or so.

Where is the wedding/reception?

Answer

The wedding and reception will be on a private piece of property near the Columbia River. Plan on an outside wedding and reception with a historic grange hall for indoor activities/dancing.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible so that we may plan accordingly.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is a gift enough, but if you're feeling particularly generous, we have set up an "adventure fund" and a "get under one roof fund" which can be found under "registry" in the menu bar above.

There are several options. We've put our recommendations under the Travel section.

Where should we park for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the end of Sunset road which will be marked. From here it is a short walk to the ceremony site. Following the ceremony you can walk a beautiful path (about 400 meters) to arrive at the Grange Hall where the reception will be held. If you would rather not walk there will be limited parking at the Grange Hall and along/near Hwy 14 + Grange Hall Rd.

How should I dress?

Answer

Come however you like! :-) This will be a rural, outdoor wedding. The weather should be nice but could be cool in the evening, especially if there is any wind. The terrain is relatively flat but not paved! Sensible shoes and a coat should keep you comfortable.
