Chagrin Falls
A total must see if it’s your first time to Ohio. Skip downtown Cleveland and go to this charming little downtown. Full of shops, restaurants and amazing views of the natural waterfalls that flow through the center of town. This is the Bride’s favorite area, it was first discovered when her dad took her on a motorcycle ride through part of the town. Herbert found his local favorite lunch spot: Dave’s cosmic subs.
Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens
Bride and groom discovered this during wedding planning, never been but it is now on our Cleveland bucket list. If you check it out, let us know how it is!
Cleveland Metroparks
Rugged trails lead you through hemlock forests, sandstone ledges, coldwater creeks and ravines. The Chagrin River, designated as a Scenic River, borders the eastern edge of the reservation. Sites rich in history include Look About Lodge, Henry Church Rock, Quarry Rock, the Polo Field, and the old Boy Scout Camp.
Tremont Area
One of the bride’s favorite neighborhoods. If you are a foodie - check out some of the restaurants in this area! It has cute restaurants, bars and New York like neighborhood vibe!
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Herbert’s first attraction in Cleveland. If your a music lover check it out.
East 4th Street Cleveland
Nice area in Downtown Cleveland, dedicated brick street with great bars and restaurants -perfect for warm weather! If you love BBQ check out Micheal Symon’s joint - Mabel’s BBQ.
Azure Rooftop Lounge
Newer hotel with night club and rooftop lounge. Enjoy views of Tower City and other iconic CLE buildings. Bride wants to check this place out, so it made the list!
Playhouse Square
Cleveland’s theater district and home of the world's largest outdoor chandelier. During the wedding time frame two great options - Puccini's La Bohème Opera and The Book of Mormon musical are both playing.
Shake Shack
I mean we wouldn’t be New Yorkers if we didn’t recommend a little Shake Shack, this is located right across the street from the hotel. Enjoy great burgers and shakes!
Iconic Cleveland script signs
If you love a good insta picture, check out one of the four Cleveland signs. The Bride has made it to most of them over the past few years. The cover photo on our website is of one of the locations!
Eton Chagrin Boulevard
Your go to if you want something really close to the hotel, easy and nice - Think modern day strip mall, a little more swanky - good dinning options (Fleming’s to name one) and shopping. Quick Uber ride away.........OR....if you want a better feel of local life, not strip mall- click on the “chagrin falls” icon on this page, it’s close by and super cute option for dinning, drinks and shops!
