Written by Tamara Dasha and I have known for a long time that we were endgame, from early in our relationship we were constantly asking each other “will you marry me”. We always thought we didn’t need some formal moment when we get engaged, we weren’t sure it was for us. But then one day, I looked at her and knew she deserved her special moment. It took quite a lot of planning, it’s so hard to keep such a big secret from your partner, but with the help of friends and family, I was able to plan a special day. We are both incredibly cheesy and romantic so I knew that I wanted to take her to some of our favorite spots, ending the day in the very spot we met face to face for the first time So after a day of mini golf, good food at chillis, games at the park, and gelato, I walked her to the succulent shop in downtown broken arrow, where my brother and his girlfriend had set out candles, balloons, rose petals, and some of our favorite photos from throughout our relationship. I gave her a letter and as she read it, our songs played and I got on one knee. I was bawling my eyes out so much that she came and sat on the ground with me for awhile. But finally I was able to get out my (very long winded) proposal. She said yes. Here’s to forever my love
