Most Seattleites love to claim the fact that "Ballard has the most breweries, per square mile, in the United States". We have no idea if that's true (it probably isnt lol), but we had to add Reuben's Brews as our favorite Ballard brewery spot. However, all the breweries in Ballard are walking distance, so we encourage you to explore the dozens surrounding it.

Our favorite way to spend a Sunday! Elliott Bay Book Company is an institution in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. Highly recommend making a reservation & grabbing breakfast at Oddfellows Cafe next door
The name is a little deceiving, because you won't find gold here, nor gardens, but with all the sand, sun and surf on this lovely beach, you won't even notice!
