It was a chilly evening in Astoria, Queens during January 2017. After sparks began to fly from speaking with Jasmin online (in true millennial fashion - thanks, Bumble!), Danny had invited her to meet at Oliver's, a cozy gastropub, for Taco Tuesday. The energy between them was wonderful from the moment she walked in and sat down. They shared a few cocktails, ordered a few tacos, swapped travel stories, and spoke about the music they enjoyed. She thought he was fun and fascinating. He thought she was brilliant and beautiful. But until that point, Danny had very little idea of what a proper taco should be. And being from Texas, Jasmin had understandably higher expectations than the flour tortillas and sour cream that were served. It was a lovely lesson learned and one that helped refine Danny's palate for years to come. Despite this failed attempt at sharing good tacos, there was a 2nd date, and a 3rd, and a 10th, and a 50th. And we hope that you'll help them make the rest of their history on September 10th 2022!

Danny proposed on a gorgeous spring day along the East River, with the city where they met as their backdrop. He had carefully planned this moment within a small window of time when Jasmin would be visiting New York from London. The day consisted of sneaky text messages to the photographers standing by, sticking to a secret schedule, and taking a suspicious walk to the site where he would then pop the question. After Danny got down on one knee, Jasmin mumbled what we can assume was a "yes" and sealed the deal with a kiss! They were then lucky to have her parents travel in to celebrate the big day, walking up a few moments later much to Jasmin's surprise. And to conclude the evening, everyone walked to a nearby restaurant to celebrate with Danny's family together. It was a beautiful day they will never forget.
