What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code: black tie Ladies think floor length dresses! Guys, tuxes or suits are a must!

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Click on the RSVP page and type in your name. This will indicate whether you have a plus +1.

Do I have to stay in one of the listed hotels?

Answer

Nope! Feel free to look around at other hotels or AirBnBs. Keep the location of the venue and church in mind when booking. Tip: look for places in Bishop Arts, Deep Ellum, Downtown Dallas, Greenville, and Uptown.

Do I have to attend the ceremony or can I go straight to the reception?

Answer

We’d love for you to witness our marriage, but understand if religious ceremonies aren’t your thing, so feel free to meet us at The Mason for the reception.

Do I have to bring cash for the bar?

Answer

We will have an open bar, but the bartenders will appreciate tips!

Do I have to wait till I get the formal invitation or can I RSVP now?

Answer

The email invitation IS the formal invitation so please RSVP by March 31st.

Question

I’ve never been to a Catholic mass/wedding; anything I should know?

Answer

We are celebrating a full Catholic mass for our wedding. This typically takes around forty five minutes. There will be a lot of sitting, standing, and some kneeling. You won’t know when it’s coming and that’s okay! Towards the end of the ceremony, there is a part where everyone will get in line to receive communion. You may remain sitting during this part or join the line to receive a blessing. If you would like to receive a blessing, cross your arms over your chest like an “x” when you approach the priest at the front of the church. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask Danny or Alesia!

Are you taking any precations due to COVID-19?

Answer

Of course! Our venue has placed restrictions on how many guests can attend to keep within the city's safety guidelines. We'll also have plenty of hand sanitizer on deck and if wearing a mask gives you peace of mind, please feel free to wear one during the entirity of the ceremony/reception.
