Aunque Puerto Peñasco cuenta con aeropuerto propio, no hemos encontrado vuelos desde Ciudad de México hasta aquí. El aeropuerto más cercano con vuelos disponibles desde CDMX es el de Mexicali. El costo aproximado del boleto desde la CDMX a Mexicali es de $2,200 pesos. El tiempo de trayecto es de 3 horas y media. Una vez que se toma un vuelo de CDMX a Mexicali en Baja California, se puede tomar un autobús hacia Puerto Peñasco, el tiempo estimado de llegada es de cerca de 3-4 horas. Rocky Point is a small fishing town off the Sea of Cortez coast in Mexico. Only a 4 hr drive from Phoenix, Arizona, it has become a popular tourist destination for Arizona locals, and the location where Dani & Bryan met!! Visitors will find many beautiful hotels, resorts and delicious food all surrounded by warm beaches and bottomless margaritas! Driving to Rocky Point from Phoenix: Rocky Point is south of Phoenix, in Mexico (don't forget your passport)! The drive to Rocky Point is about 215 miles from Phoenix if you take Route 85 through Gila Bend. Once you get to Ajo, you have about 95 miles to go. From the US/MEX border at Lukeville, it's 68 more miles to Rocky Point. Adding Mexican insurance coverage on your car is a must! Like actually. There are short-term plans available at the gas stations in AZ on the road down, or you can find an instant quote at mexicancarinsurance.com. There are other local options as well that we can put you in touch with. (See FAQs Tab) Use the Lukeville/Sonoyta border crossing! Hours are strictly enforced & are currently 6am-8pm. **Once you cross the border, your speed limit is in kilometers per hour, NOT mph. This is important to pay attention to as well as stopping fully at any "ALTO" signs you see. Some of the ALTO signs are easily missed. PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION. We always carry cash on the drive down as if you are pulled over, the police will expect payment immediately, even if you go with them to the station to pay your fine. If you watch your speed & stop *completely* at the "Alto" signs though, there's no reason for them to do so!

We have rented many houses in Las Conchas in the past years and have always had a great time. This community is right on the beach and is 10 minutes away from the center of Puerto Peñasco. The beach house where the wedding will take place is part of this community. To get to Las Conchas, take Blvd. Freemont east across Sinaloa to the stop sign at the roundabout and then make your first right and wind your way through the community.
