The Wedding Website of Nina Alexander-Hurst and Dan Golden

We have a weekend of Chicago fun lined up and we're excited to share our city with you! The Ceremony: We will first gather for a modern interpretation of the Tisch, Bedekin and Ketubah Signing. Please arrive at 2:45pm for singing and dancing around Dan and Nina. The ceremony will start at 3:30pm after we have a few l'chaims and Dan puts Nina's veil on. For details on this ceremony, you can read up here: https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/before-the-jewish-wedding-ceremony/ The Party You've Been Waiting For: Following the ceremony, there will be a VERY fun party at the Piano Bar @ Sluggers, a classic Chicago bar in Wrigleyville, where Nina beat Dan at pop-a-shot too many times to count. Please plan to uber between the locations, which are a very short distance apart. Saturday afternoon/evening: Our whole lives have been a rehearsal for this moment, but we still plan to get together on Saturday with out-of-towners. Expect a very casual gathering with details to come soon.

We recommend UBERING to our house. There is street parking, which is free and then grab a permit from us at 6pm, but it's VERY limited, and would be easier to Uber. We'll have drinks, Chicago hotdogs, smiles, music, hugs and toasts before the big day!

Get dolled up in your best summer look. We are here for looks that are fabulous and ready for a party. Parking near the ceremony venue is easy! If you're then driving to Sluggers, we recommend finding a parking spot using Spot Hero, as street parking is hard to come by!

Street parking near Sluggers isn't easy, so we recommend an Uber or using the Spot Hero parking app, as there are any nearby parking garages. It will be cheaper to use the Spot Hero app rather than pay retail at the parking garages.

Backyard Bonfire After Party

9:00 pm - 10:45 pm

Lakeview Neighborhood, Chicago

This is an 18 minute walk or a very, very short uber from the party. Join us for s'mores and backyard sing-a-longs. For those with energy after 10:45pm, the party will move to a local bar (without the bride and groom!) We recommend UBERING to our house. Street parking is VERY difficult at this time of night!!
