Dylan and Claire “officially” met in May of 2020 on their first date in College Station. One night in May, Dylan followed Claire on Instagram after seeing her in an Instagram story with her roommates. He still even remembers the outfit she was wearing in the picture! Claire accepted his follow request and followed Dylan back without thinking anything of it, but definitely thought he was a cutie! After asking a few mutual friends if they knew if Claire was single, Dylan worked up the courage to send her an Instagram DM (You know, it goes down in the DMs ). Claire didn’t realize she had a message until the next morning, leaving Dylan wondering all night if she would ever reply. They exchanged numbers, one thing led to another, and Dylan asked Claire to meet him in College Station for dinner at Porter’s. They spent the whole night talking and ended up spending the entire weekend together in College Station. Soon after the date, Dylan left for his summer internship. They FaceTimed every day and learned more and more about each other. (Even though Dylan told Claire his entire life story on their first date). Dylan teased Claire about coming to visit him in Midland, TX, and she made it happen! Claire flew to Midland for a weekend, where they made their relationship official and told each other they loved each other for the first time. They ended the summer with an amazing trip to Steamboat, Colorado and started their senior year at Texas A&M together. Claire and Dylan have known for a really long time they wanted to get married, and cannot wait to embark on this season of their lives! We are so blessed that God led us to each other, and truly believe He created us with each other in mind. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of our closest friends and family January 14th, 2023! - Claire & Dylan
