During their senior year in high school, Jared convinced Zach to spend spring break at a programming convention. Not only did it dramatically change Zach’s career trajectory, but it perfectly encapsulates the nerdiness of this friendship. Jared's son Elijah is also Zach’s godson.

Michael and Zach have known each other since college and remained close after both moving to DC before eventually becoming roommates. Michael can be counted on to bring equal parts humor and nihilism to any situation and for the perfect Taylor Swift or Beyonce song to meet any moment.

Sarah and Danielle met in Charlotte during their first week of TFA training. She, Rachel, and Danielle agreed to be roommates without knowing much about each other, and it ended up being the best thing they could have done. Danielle appreciates her reliability, her perspective, her candor, and her empathy.

Ben and Zach met on the first day of their first post-college job. Somehow Ben got Zach hooked on camping on a trip in February and the rest is history. Find them hiking, golfing, or trying to apply game theory to a friendly Kentucky Derby bet.
