FAQs

The Wedding Website of Danielle Melendy and Zachary Knowlton
If you have any other questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out to the bride or groom prior to the day of the wedding.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st, 2024. If we don't receive your RSVP by the deadline noted, we will have to mark you as "not attending". We will miss celebrating with you, but we do need to finalize guest count for the venue and our vendors. We hope you understand!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly invitation only. If you have a plus one indicated on your formal invitation, then you are welcome to bring a plus one! Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate other extra guests due to venue capacity.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults - only event. The only exception will be the little ones in our bridal party/ immediate family. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail/ semi formal attire. No black tie is required. I also advise the ladies do not wear stiletto heels, as the ceremony is completely outside and you will be getting on a boat. If you have any questions regarding the attire, feel free to reach out to the bride or groom.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony does require prearranged transportation to get to the island. Please arrive to the docks across the street from the Squam Lake Science Center by 2:00 PM as the boats will be leaving at 2:15 PM for the island. If you have any questions about this, please reach out to the bride or groom.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be an "unplugged ceremony". This means no phones/ devices! You will have an opportunity to take photos at a given time per our officiant. However, our hired professionals will be taking photos during the entire ceremony and we would like to avoid any phones or devices in the background of said photos. However, we strongly encourage our guests to take photos/videos during the reception and before/ after the ceremony.
