Out of town destinations

Sedona: about 100 miles north, with great views of the red rocks and hiking (see FAQ for more specifics) The Grand Canyon: 220 miles north of Phoenix (look into staying in Williams, or taking the Grand Canyon Train) Flagstaff: 130 miles north, a snowy mountain town with skiing (great breweries!) Jerome: 100 miles north, an old mining town with wineries (caution, it's haunted) Prescott: 90 miles north, known for whiskey row Williams: 160 miles north, located on Route 66, gateway to the Grand Canyon
