Our journey began in 7th grade when we crossed paths in the orchestra class at Holmes Middle School. Back then, we never imagined that our connection would evolve beyond friendship. Throughout high school and college, we lost touch at times but always managed to find our way back to each other.

Fast forward to December 2020, just after Thanksgiving. I happened to notice on Dani's Instagram that she was in Savannah, GA, where I was currently studying. I decided to reach out casually, hoping to reconnect while she was in town. We ended up exploring downtown Savannah, hopping between a couple of spots, and concluding the evening at a karaoke bar. Later that night, I took Dani back to her mother's house, where I must have left a positive impression because I was invited to join their family outing that weekend in St. Augustine, FL. In short, I made the life-changing decision to move to North Carolina to be with her, and we've been dating ever since.

In the week leading up to the engagement, we embarked on a memorable trip to Italy. While I was well aware of Dani's penchant for envisioning a proposal in one of her dream destinations, I had something different in mind. Upon our return from vacation, on a serene Sunday morning, I orchestrated a private hot air balloon excursion in Asheville, NC. The hours we spent together during that ride were sheer bliss. Understanding Dani's desire to have her loved ones close, I arranged for our families to gather at my parents' house, intending to spring a delightful surprise on my soon-to-be bride. To sum it up, the story concludes with her joyful and resounding "YES"! We are absolutely thrilled to share this upcoming chapter of our lives with you. Looking forward to seeing you in Lexington, SC!
