Question

What am I going to eat and drink all weekend?

Answer

Camp Starlight will be cooking up delicious food for the welcome BBQ on Friday night, breakfast / lunch / snacks on Saturday, cocktail hour and our reception meal on Saturday, and the Farewell brunch on Sunday. We’ll have alcoholic and non-alcohol beverages for your enjoyment all weekend long, too! If there are any snacks/treats/drinks you can’t live without, bring them along! If you have a particular dietary restriction, don’t worry! If there's anything you'd like us to be aware of, feel free to reach out to us at CampLandD2023@gmail.com with any questions. We’ve prepared a delicious menu that will accommodate everyone!

Question

I never went to camp…. what should I expect?

Answer

Camp Starlight will be your home for the weekend, so no need to worry about getting transportation to and from events; once you arrive and park your car at camp, you can forget about it until after the farewell brunch. Camp Starlight is a premier family-owned and operated overnight camp located on a private lake, surrounded by 396 acres of the beautiful Pocono mountains. Our wedding weekend is all about fun — so prepare for a weekend full of your favorite outdoor activities (basketball, swimming, soccer, tennis, fishing), hanging out under the stars, and a beautiful wedding sprinkled in. All of the cabins have a outlets, comfy single beds, showers, toilets, hot water, electricity, and a ton of cubbies to store your stuff.

Question

What time should we plan to arrive and depart Camp Starlight?

Answer

Campers can arrive as early as Friday at 3pm to get the lay of the land, settle into their bunks, and relax. The Welcome BBQ will start at 6:30pm, and there will be someone available at the Visitor’s Center for arrivals throughout the evening. For campers who are only staying over Saturday night and want to take part in camp activities and lunch, please plan to arrive no later than 12pm. Once the weekend comes to a close and we enjoy our last breakfast together, check out is at 11am. We’ll miss you!
