The internet helped spark something beautiful and long lasting for Jules and Danielle, who met through a dating app back in the summer of 2013. After talking for over a month, Danielle wondered, “Why am I still talking to this guy?” but their chemistry was undeniable. Jules finally mustered up the courage to ask Danielle out. Their first date took place at Public School, a local restaurant and bar with great food and a fun atmosphere (a location that very much matched both of their personalities). Danielle walked in with her golden blonde hair and Jules was hooked. Her compassion, love and energy sealed the deal. Aside from being tall and handsome, Danielle loved how comfortable she felt around Jules. It was like they had known each other forever! Very quickly, she also noticed how kind he was to everyone they encountered, and knew she had found herself a truly good guy. But it wasn’t just his heart of gold that won her over — it was also his sense of humor, ability to make her laugh, and little bit of LA swagger. Almost 5 years later, the two are still inseparable.
The wine country of Santa Ynez Valley has always been a special place for these two, so it’s fitting that Jules chose to pop the question there. He planned a birthday trip for Danielle with 12 of their closest friends (and few surprise guests) — Danielle’s mother, Boopie, flew out from Oklahoma and Jules’ parents, Phillip and Carol, drove up from Los Angeles! Jules proposed on August 20, 2016 at Andrew Murray Vineyards. He could barely get three words out before pulling his Bubbe Barbara’s ring out of his pocket and presenting it to Danielle. She said yes and the party began! There was a lot of wine, cupcakes and happy tears! These two have truly become a family (complete with their baby, Cali cat) and are so excited to take the next step in their lives by tying the proverbial “knot” and making everything official. They hope you’ll join them in Long Beach for their wedding celebration, and can’t wait to share their love with all of you!
