This is the story of how Josiah & Dani met … We went to the same Christian school together but Josiah was several years ahead of me. We were both athletes and had crossed paths countless times in the gym and at various events. His mom had coached me and his sister was one of my best friends, yet Josiah and I were only acquaintances. Following my graduation in 2021, Josiah began texting me after some encouragement from a group of close friends. We started getting to know each other over the course of several weeks and would soon go out for our first official date. It all begin with an intense round of putt putt (I think I’m still mad that I lost!), then we enjoyed some ice cream and ran into several friends who expressed their excitement at seeing us together. From that point on, we continued to grow closer together and fell in love over that summer. A little over a year later, in July 2022, Josiah proposed and now we are excited to spend the rest of our lives together. It is always so amazing to see how the Lord brings two people together and writes their story. “All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.” (Psalm 139:16b)
