We will not have a specific room block anywhere. However, we are currently working on a list of hotels you can find in the travel tab for ideas of where to stay.
Tampa International Airport (TPA) is the best way to arrive to Tampa, from there you either go north to New Tampa, where the wedding church and festivities will be, or stay in South Tampa and commute north.
Although we love all our little cousins and children in the family, we have decided to make our wedding day an adult only affair. We do hope you understand and can plan accordingly!
The ceremony will be a Catholic Church ceremony at St Marks the Evangelist. The cocktail and reception will be at Avila Golf & Country Club.
Formal Attire - the club normally has a strict dress code, we are making this a formal attire event out of respect for the venues. Please stick to the dress code, or they will not let you in. They are very strict on NO jeans (which is not formal anyway, so please don't wear them) - you will not be let in if not dressed properly.
Ceremony is indoors, at the church. The cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor, with the reception being indoors. Patio is able to be accessed at any time in the night. However, there is NO SMOKING outdoors... or indoors.
Please aim to arrive at 12:45pm.
The Catholic Church ceremony will begin promptly at 12:45pm. Please aim to arrive at 12:40pm, so we can have all of our guests with us. Family will stay after for some photos in the church. There is a 3 hour gap (2pm-5pm) as Cocktail Hour begins at 5:30pm, with Reception to follow at 6:30pm
No, we will not be providing any transportaion. If you are local, taking your own car or ubering is best. Parking is available at both sites. If you are from out of town, renting a car or relying on ubers will be the way to go. See Travel Tab for directions to the Reception at the Avila Golf Clubhouse.
