First comes preschool, then comes marriage: We met on a playground, and our life has been an adventure ever since! Jerri worked as a toddler teacher, and Danni was the new preschool teacher. It didn't take long for us to take an interest in each other, but Danni didn't work up the courage to ask Jerri on a date for a few months. Our first three dates included Elitches, the art walk in the Santa Fe Art District, and a weekend getaway to Aspen. Danni proposed in California, at Disneyland, on January 11, 2019. About everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Operating on very little sleep, we were faced with flight changes, pouring rain, and other minor disasters. The man checking our bags at Disneyland even pulled the "surprise" ring out of my bag in front of Jerri and said, “What’s this?” Nonetheless, Danni dropped to one knee as we entered the park, and Jerri said, “Yes."
