We're Getting Married!

We were both working at Cracker Barrel at the time, back in 2012! A coworker mentioned how excited they were that Cross was going to be working that night because he was "so hot" and that immediately peaked my curiosity lol. When he walked in that night, there was instant chemistry. We were paired up together to work this awful party who didn't even end up leaving us a tip at all! But it didn't matter, we laughed and joked and flirted all night. Before I went home from my shift, Cross asked for my number. We had our first date 3 days later, we talked and laughed all night. We both knew after that first night that we had each found the person our hearts had been searching for, we became inseparable from that point on. 7 years, 2 dogs, and a sweet kitten later we are so excited to tie the knot!

Dani had just gotten home from work, luckily she was dressed up! Cross decided we should watch the church service online so we could snuggle up after a long work day, just the 2 of us. Dani went to grab the laptop and get things set up while he was downstairs with the dogs. Dani had no clue what was going on and went to see what was taking the boys so long. Thinking he had the dogs set up for a nice photo in front of the tree, she bounded down the stairs. Cross said "I think the boys have something they want to say to you." Dani bent down to read their bandanas, Max's said "Mommy will you marry my Daddy?" and Ernie's said "Please say yes". She turned around and Cross was on one knee and he said "I love you baby, will you marry me?!" It was the best moment of our lives!
