Corbin and Dani met at a dive bar called The Walrus on a beautiful summer night in August 2015. It was ladies night, Corbin was there with his roommates, Dani was there after getting off her shift at Foolish Craig's. The Walrus was a classic dive bar, arcade games and pool in the front of the bar and a dance floor in the back. Corbin was working at Wild Goose Canning Company at the time, and Dani was just about to finish her senior year at CU Boulder. Corbin remembers the dance floor parting ways as Dani made her way over to dance with him. Dani remembers dancing with her friends and seeing this attractive man with amazing hair dancing perfectly to the beat. They ended up dancing the rest of the night together and exchanged numbers. They saw each other for a few weeks and then parted ways. It wasn't until January of 2016 that Corbin found Dani on Instagram and slid into her DMs. Dani was still working at Foolish Craig's on the weekend and starting her student teaching practicum. The only problem, Dani was seeing someone else at the time. Then by April 2016, Dani was single again, and this time she slid into Corbin's DMs on Instagram. She asked him if he wanted to grab a drink at West End Tavern, a bar on Pearl Street. He agreed! Corbin and Dani continued to date after that, making their relationship "official" when they went to The Bluegrass Music Festival in Telluride, Colorado. The relationship was full of adventures, backpacking, hiking, hammocking, fly fishing and exploring new places together. In 2017, Corbin and Dani moved into their "Tiny Home" , a 22" Wolf Pup travel trailer together. They would park various places around Boulder and still manage to get their jobs. Most people thought they were crazy moving into such a tiny space on wheels. To them, it was an adventure of a lifetime. Dani landed her first teaching job teaching 4th grade in Erie, Colorado while Corbin continued to fix canning lines for various breweries in Boulder. Two years of parking around the Boulder area, Corbin and Dani decided to move to Montana. Corbin, going back to school for Radiology, and Dani landing a 3rd grade job. They moved to Missoula, Montana in 2019. Dani remembers driving across the Montana state line and Corbin called her saying, "Welcome home, baby!" Corbin and Dani moved into a little back alley house and sold their travel trailer. Their adventures continued, even welcoming their adorable Great Pyrenees/Shepherd named Aurora. They fished, camped, and explored their new state, and knew they found their home. Missoula was everything Boulder was except a lot cheaper (no sales tax!) and a lot less people. 2020, COVID hit. And that wasn't a great turn out for the adventurous couple. They decided to part ways and take on Montana on their own. With every month that turned into about two years, Corbin and Dani kept coming back to each other. Flash forward to 2022 and Corbin and Dani decided to meet for coffee. They updated each other on their lives and each shared how they missed the other, wishing they had been there for the ups and downs. Soon after, they started dating again, life was better together than being apart. Aurora missed her dad around, too! Corbin finished up his Radiology Technologist program and Dani made it to his graduation. He landed his first job in Great Falls, Montana living his own adventure out his Mercedes Sprinter van, visiting Dani and Aurora on the weekends. Their adventure continued. The fall of 2024, Corbin planned a trip up to BANFF, Canada, where he proposed at the top of Sulphur Mountain. Dani said YES! And the rest is history. The couple decided to get married just the two of them at the Missoula CourtHouse on September 24, 2024. The day was perfectly filled with love and laughter. They honeymooned up in Whitefish, Montana for a week. Now, the couple can’t wait to celebrate their marriage with family and friends at Snowbowl in Missoula, Montana. See you soon!
