Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We do have 3 hotels that have rooms blocked for our wedding! *group rates between the hotels differ so please look at both to see what option works best for you* You can find the information for our hotel blocks listed under the "Travel" section of our website. Please note that rooms are filling quickly and we are limited to how many rooms we can block. If the hotel you were planning on staying at informs you there are no longer rooms left in our block, please try contacting another one of our listed hotels. We also encourage you to call the hotel and ask if they have rooms available outside of our block if there are no more blocked rooms available. Please contact Danielle with any questions.

Do we have a registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry! We have lived together for a while now, and have all our pots and pans! If you feel inclined to give us a wedding gift, a contribution would help us get our newlywed life off to a great start!

When should guests arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 4:30pm. We ask that you arrive no later than 4:00pm to give adequate time to park and be seated. The venue has a lovely tavern with a cash bar that opens at 11:30am and is available to any guests who would like to arrive sooner while they wait for the ceremony and an attendant would inform you when it is time to walk to the ceremony area!

What does the food and drink selection look like?

Answer

There will be a variety of food and drinks available for our guests! There will be a 5 hour open bar, that begins at cocktail hour (5:00pm). There will be 6 hors d'oeuvres to choose from at cocktail hour, as well as a meal station. For the reception, there will be a sit down dinner, followed by a cake and a selection of small desserts. Please come hungry!

Is there a shuttle for the hotels?

Answer

There will be a shuttle to the venue prior to the ceremony and back to the Wingate and Hampton hotels only following the reception! If you have any additional questions regarding transportation please reach out to Danielle

Is the ceremony outside or inside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside! If the weather does not allow us to be outside, there is an indoor option at the same venue. Reception will be inside regardless of the weather

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only those addressed on formal invitations will be invited to attend. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate for plus ones for everyone. Please contact Danielle with any questions regarding this.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to limited seating. We hope you understand and are still able to celebrate our day with us! Please contact Danielle if you have any questions/issues regarding this.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The general attire will be “cocktail attire!” Attire includes cocktail dresses, sundresses, midi dresses, slacks, jackets, button down shirts. Attire excludes jeans, t-shirts Wear your Sunday’s best!
