FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The doors open at 4:30pm. Please arrive by 4:45pm so we can begin on time!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal, or cocktail attire. For ladies, cocktail dresses as well as floor-length dresses or jumpsuits are welcome. Heels and wedges are appropriate. For the gentlemen, suits or sports coats are recommended complete with a tie. Suits can be paired with loafers or dress shoes. The ceremony seating will be on the grass but there are paved walkways throughout the venue.

Question

What is the wedding day timeline?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 o'clock pm. Please arrive by 4:45pm and grab a seat to prevent any delays. We will move over to our cocktail hour after the ceremony for refreshments while the wedding party does portraits. Doors for the reception will open at 6:30pm. Please find your assigned seat for dinner and wedding party introductions! Finally, we will party the night away until 10:30pm. At this time, please make your way over for our bride and groom exit.

Question

What will the weather be?

Answer

Hopefully it will be clear skies and comfortable temperatures, but we can't control the weather! Average temperatures in Sarasota during March range from a low of 57ºF to a high of 77ºF (14-25ºC). Please expect a slight sea breeze. The ceremony is shaded by trees, and the cocktail hour location has a covered balcony. Dinner will be indoors. We have a rain plan in place if necessary.

Question

What are my transportation options?

Answer

We have booked a trolley leaving from the Aloft Sarasota Hotel. The first trolley will leave the hotel at 4:25PM, with a second shuttle leaving at 4:40PM. There is free parking at Aloft (daytime only, there is a fee for overnight parking). If you prefer to drive, parking is available at the venue. Uber and Lyft are also great options. Please have a plan and do not drink and drive.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please refer to the "Travel" section of our website. The wedding party will be at the Aloft Downtown Sarasota hotel. Please note, it is spring break and prices are increasing so book your accommodations as soon as possible. We have listed a few options in the area on our website, but feel free to stay anywhere in the Sarasota area. AirBNB or VRBO also have rental options if a hotel does not work for you.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If their name is listed on your invitation, then they are invited and we would love to celebrate with them! If not, then we do ask that you come alone. We would love to meet your date at another time!

Question

Are there any other wedding events during the weekend?

Answer

We will be at O'Leary's Tiki Bar and Grill on Friday March 10 at 7PM for a welcome celebration! If you are in town please stop by and grab some dinner and a drink. We are looking forward to spending time with each and every one of you, and we are so grateful you were able to travel to be with us on this day.

Question

Can we take photos during the wedding?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We have hired professional photographers to capture the event so please respect their space. We would love for you to take as many photos as you want during cocktail hour and the reception. Please share your photos with us by emailing to ingramwedding2023@gmail.com or scanning the QR code at your table which links to our Google Drive to easily upload any photos you wish to share.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The ballroom is upstairs but there is a ramp around the back. Please reach out to our amazing vendors and coordinators if you have trouble finding it.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We so very much appreciate you and your generosity! We have registered at Crate&Barrel, Target, and Macy's, which is linked on our website above. We also have listed some cash funds to go towards our honeymoon. This can all be found through Zola, the store-specific website, or you can shop in person at these locations.

Question

Do we need to wear a mask?

Answer

Masks are not a requirement by us or our venue. However, if you are not vaccinated or have a health condition, we would recommend protecting yourself.

Question

I still have questions....

Answer

If there is anything we did not answer, please reach out to us! You can text Danielle or Charlie at any time and we would be happy to help.
