Busy with their respective assignments at Wallkill Bethel, Ben and Danielle often passed each other in the lunch line or hallway, exchanging polite nods but nothing more. Their love story began at a Pie and Paint party. Surrounded by friends, colors, and pie, Ben finally struck up a conversation with Danielle. It wasn’t an epic meet-cute straight out of a rom-com, but it was enough to spark his hope for more. Their connection deepened at another gathering, culminating in an unforgettable group outing to the Bronx Zoo. On the way back, a pit stop at Whole Foods changed everything. Ignoring the plant-based milks and $9 granola, Ben asked Danielle to be his girlfriend right there in aisle 3. Whole Foods had never seemed more promising as a backdrop for love. Their relationship blossomed, filled with spontaneous adventures and gastronomical delights. Ben soon realized he wanted to spend his life with Danielle. So, on October 19th, at the Montreal Botanical Garden—perfect for Danielle’s love of flowers—he proposed. They are now thrilled to share their love story with those whom they hold so dear—you!
