This is the park where Danielle works! It's a great place to get a green break from the city and enjoy some time on the water. You can stroll the pathways, see downtown Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and the Empire State building. Plus, there are food kiosks for you to grab a drink or a light bite.
During the first year of our relationship we had a fun staycation in downtown Manhattan and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge (Manhattan to Brooklyn route). Once on the other side we stopped for some pizza at Grimaldi's!
The two of us love theater and have spent plenty of time seeing shows. You can find some good deals by buying directly at the box office (no fees there) or on TodayTix. Feel free to ask us for show recommendations.
We have been on this boat many times. With family, friends and just us. For only $10 you can cruise on the Hudson River (for as long as you want). Booze and Food cost extra, but nothing beats a frozen marg on 'The Lobster Boat' on a hot NYC summer day.
Learn a little bit of history by visiting the Statue of Liberty. Boat tours leave from downtown Manhattan.
Take in the stunning views of NYC from one of the tallest buildings in Manhattan.
