This is one of our favorite spots in Colorado, with panoramic views of Denver and its surrounding suburbs. This is also where Bobby proposed to Danielle.

Torreys Peak

If you are feeling especially adventurous, try your hand at climbing this 14'er! The trail head is a 40 minute drive from Idaho springs and it is a 4 mile in-and-out hike (8 miles total) with a 3'000 ft elevation gain. The Torrey's peak is regarded as a relatively easy 14'er to summit, so get there early and expect to hike with quite a few other people!

Mount Evans is the highest summit of the Chicago Peaks in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. One of the Fourteeners - you can drive to the top if the road is open for the season.
