We're getting married!

We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with our closest friends and family. Thank you for being part of this journey! To prepare you for our Big Day, we have created this site with some helpful information and tips to make things easy for folks in town and those traveling. Eleven years ago we met on a tubing trip through a group of mutual friends. We hit it off from day one and became great friends over the years. We always stayed in touch, even while Daniel was living in Austin and Kat was in between Dallas and Chicago. Flash forward to November 5, 2017, when Kat texted Daniel asking if he'd like to be her hot New Year's date. He responded, “Umm, yes. LOL.” and soon enough we became more than great friends. (I'm not crying, you're crying.) As a couple, we’ve been together for four years. 💕

During a Hill Country getaway on Memorial Day weekend, Daniel asked Kat to join him on a walk. Surrounded by Texas wildflowers and beautiful rolling hills, Daniel asked Kat to "hold my beer" before dropping down to one knee and proposing. Kat’s heart filled to the brim with joy as she said, “YES!” and we were engaged.
