Question

When Should I Plan To Arrive In Tulum?

Answer

We would love if you could join us for the entirety of the wedding weekend, please kindly reserve February 18th to 21st on your calendars. We are suggesting arriving in Tulum on Thursday, February 17th or Friday the 18th and flying home on Monday, February 21st.

Question

It's cheaper to stay in Tulum town, should I do that?

Answer

There are some amazing, inexpensive Airbnb's or hotels in the town. Just be aware that you will need to take a $20 taxi each way. Also, there is a lot of traffic especially on the weekends that can often make the beach road very backed up. If you are staying in town please plan for traffic.

Question

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

February & March are traditionally the sunniest months in Tulum, with the least amount of rain. You can expect warm daytime temperatures with comfortable, occasionally cool nights.

Question

Do I Need A Passport?

Answer

A valid passport is required to travel to Tulum, Mexico. Please keep in mind it can take up to 3 months to receive your passport. If your passport is expiring within six months of the wedding, you will need to have it renewed in order to leave the country.

Question

How Do We Get Around Tulum?

Answer

The Tulum beach road is easy to get around by bike, foot or taxi. Most hotels rent bikes by the day and taxis are plentiful and safe. Be sure to have pesos avaliable. The price for a taxi to and from destinations on the Tulum Beach Road is approximately 80 - 120 pesos. The price for a taxi to destinations in Tulum Town is approximately 150 to 200 pesos. Always ask the price and negotiate cost before entering the taxi.

Question

What currency is used/Can I use a credit card?

Answer

We recommend exchanging dollars to pesos ahead of time through your bank, but there are ATMs available in Tulum if needed. VISA and Mastercard are widely accepted at established restaurants, hotels and retail stores. However cab drivers, small retail shops and spa services will only accept pesos.
