Thank you for making the journey to Mexico to celebrate with us! We hope you're able to stay for a few days after the wedding. First, we will relocate to the nearby Pueblo Magico of Tepotzlan, where we will be enjoying the local food, art, and scenery. Then, we will head to Mexico City and spend several days with family before parting ways for our honeymoon. Please see details for each segment of the trip below.

Flight

Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City (MEX)

It is about a 1-1.5 hours drive to the venue from the airport. There are multiple options for transportation: A great way to get to Cuernavaca from the airport is to TAKE THE BUS: it is convenient, comfortable, and inexpensive. The Pullman buses have large, reclining, cushioned seats. Pullman de Morelos bus line has buses departing from the airport every ninety minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. The ticket is about $15 US, which you can pay for with Mexican pesos, Visa, or Mastercard. UBER is available from the airport. It may cost upwards of $100 USD to uber to Hacienda Cortes or somewhere in its vicinity. TAXIS are available at the airport. Confirm a price with your driver before getting in the car. It could cost somewhere in the ballpark of $60 USD. Ask whether the driver accepts card, or if they are cash only.

Travel Note

WHERE TO STAY THE WEEKEND OF THE WEDDING

1. You can stay at HACIENDA CORTES, which is the venue where we are getting married (see details below). 2. AIRBNB OR HOTELS We recommend searching around the lush neighborhoods of Reforma or Vista Hermosa if you book an Airbnb or hotel. You may also wish to stay near the historic center of Cuernavaca (you can use Jardin Juarez as a location to search around).

Travel Note

Exploring Mexico City

After the wedding in Cuernavaca and a day in the nearby town of Tepotzlan, we plan to head back to Mexico City to explore the city. Please copy and paste the URL below to see the Google document for additional details. https://docs.google.com/document/d/16ivKEHjI-phaBfwSsKa7_6Nuu11C2lt04XFqR7NSftI/edit *The doc mentions shuttle tours: for the shuttle tours on the 27th and 28th, we do need to make reservations in advance so the drivers can know what size, and how many vehicles will be needed. The cost will be about $50 USD per person, per day. This only covers the transportation, and does not include museum entrance fees, meals, etc. Let us know ASAP if you would like to join one or both of the tours.

For all the days along the way
