Wedding Party

Meet the wedding party that we love to pieces!

Sharon Fong

Maid of Honor

Unsure of when our friendship started, sometime in early 2017, we deepened our relationship and became nearly inseparable. Through silly parkourse, deceptive Avalon, living 4000 miles apart and even 0 miles apart we have grown wonderfully together. A friend who seeks to understand at the deepest of hearts and minds while pushing me to continually transform in my walk with God is such a rare blessing. I am so grateful to have Sharon as my maid of honor.

Nina Franzen

Bridesmaid

If there is one instance of becoming friends with a person, there is none other so memorable than Nina. We were at a soul cafe as Alex, her eventual to be husband, was giving his testimony and I had been pondering the thought over the past few weeks at how special Nina seemed. So after we were randomly sorted in the same group to discuss deep and heartfelt questions, I turned and looked at her to say "Nina, I think you are really cool and I think we would vibe well together, would you like to be my friend?" With an immediate response of "I was thinking the same thing!"... we never looked back.

Sarah Kim

Bridesmaid

My summer-loving California cutie has popped up into my life without any notice. I joined a church in Anaheim over a summer while I was there, came back to the East Coast and our church was hiring a new youth pastor. Turns out it was Sarah! We have spent countless hours on phone calls and zooms, being completely open and vulnerable to always be uplifted and reminded of who we are in Christ. 6 months later I make my way back out to Cali and on my first scheduled day to meet Sarah in person- she slept through our date. Not the biggest shocker if you know Sarah but the rest of our time together was filled with amazing hikes, so many laughs, and the most delicious Korean food.

Nick Alzamora

Bridesman

One of the most unlikely friendships to occur has become one of my most cherished. At the start of college, I was very apathetic and didn't understand how to develop relationships with those different form me; Nick was very outgoing, energetic, and made your business his business. After a few years of yelling at Nick to never poke or hug me again, we met again after a year of Jesus transformation and were able to see each other's hearts. I now appreciated Nick's spontaneity, friendliness, and inquisitive nature while Nick was able to appreciate more of my laid back nuances for a gradual growth in friendship over time.

Tommy Martin

Best Man

Tommy was one of the first people I met in college. Living in the cool room right next to mine, with all the cute blonde girls coming in and out all day, our friendship developed slowly. Not until junior year can I really say we became close friends. With his roommates galivanting all over campus, we spent numerous Saturday afternoons hanging out, talking in his apartment, and watching comedy sketches on Netflix. Since then, our friendship has continued to grow, even as we slowly move further apart across the country. However, that hasn't stopped us from being able to be there for each other, whether it be his wedding to his wonderful wife Kara, visiting me during my difficult moments in Colorado, celebrating his birthday in Pittsburgh, and now my own wedding to Gabbi. I couldn't have asked for a better friend or best man.

Frankie Rosenberger

Groomsman

Frankie!! What can I say about this man? A person not unlike myself, Frankie is an incredible funny guy and a big goof ball. To think that our friendship started all because I wanted to play Fifa in his room when he went to volleyball practice and then developed into us being roommates for the last 2 years of school. I guess I should be so thankful for my need to play video games, that it brought an incredible friend into my life. Someone who I can always call to talk about any issue going on or ask for advice. Someone whose jet trending lifestyle with his travel nurse wife, Jo, has inspired Gabbi and I to do the same. Hopefully allowing us to be able to cross paths and spend time with them more often!

Keshav Francis

Groomsman

My newest friend out of all the groomsman, Keshav, or Kesh as he goes by, is by no means any less important to me. A friendship born out of Covid, Kesh and I had only just moved in to together when lockdown began. Suddenly forced into spending all day commuting to work and working together, it could have gone south very quickly; but as evidenced it here it did not. Kesh has been there for all moments of my relationship with Gabbi, good and stressful. Always being an honest voice of reason and calm he always helped me deal with my anxieties and gave me confidence that everything was going well. He is truly one of my greatest confidants and greatest friends.

Mitchell Kaufmann

Groomsman

The most adventurous of my friends, Mitch has always had an appetite for fun and adventure. Whenever you felt bored and needed something to do, all you need was to find Mitch and your problems were solved! That adventurous and fun-loving spirit is what initially drew me to Mitch. Hanging out and visiting him all across the country has provided me some of my most cherished memories. From having 5 people living on a bus in Maine for a week to traveling out West and *almost climbing Half-Dome, Mitch has always found a way to challenge and push me. I could not be more thankful to have someone in my life who has pushed to experience all there is in this beautiful world.
