June 1st
We understand that the venue is a distance from the Twin Cities. With traffic unknown, it's traditional to arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony (that would be 2:30 p.m.). There will be some fun things to see and look around before everything kicks off!
We LOVE kids. We wanted to include as many children as our numbers would allow. Kids will be included on your RSVP. If you have a dependent baby (i.e. still breastfeeding, etc.) that was not included on your RSVP, they are more than welcome to come along to the fun. We also understand if this would be a fun night for mom and dad to get away and enjoy the evening kid free! It is a commute out to The Stone Barn so we support your discretion on kids attending if on your RSVP. Reach out if you have questions.
Keeping things classy with Garden/Cocktail attire. We are hoping to have the ceremony on the lawn outside the barn (weather permitting) so you may be walking on uneven ground, rocks, or grass. It is also just 2 days after the summer solstice so we're praying for a beautiful, sunny day - so consider colors for sitting in the sun for the ceremony.
Our wedding is RSVP only, so we will only be able to accommodate a plus one if it is listed on your RSVP.
Yes! Lots! There is a lot that is used for the wedding venue AND the wood-fire pizza restaurant on-site. There will be someone to direct you as you arrive. It is a little bit of a walk to the barn so if you need to be dropped off closer to the barn/ceremony site, there will be availability to do so.
Only if you're ready to BRING IT. If you want a song played, share your requests. No guarantees it will be played. But we do guarantee that you will have an outstanding time and might even break a sweat gettin' down. Dancing shoes encouraged.
