Question
How does the shuttle work?
Answer
We have a 30-person shuttle running between the Holiday Inn (32 E Main St, Dahlonega, GA 30533) and the wedding venue. The bus picks up at 3:50pm and will head to the venue. The loading area is behind the hotel. Returning, there will be a bus that departs from the venue at 9pm and another at 10pm.

Where will the different parts of the wedding be held?
Answer
All parts of the wedding will be held at Lilly Creek Farm. The ceremony will be outdoors (shaded with fans), the cocktail hour will be in a covered outdoor area, and the reception will be indoors.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is cocktail attire. Dresses (knee-length, tea-length, midi, maxi) for women and suits for men (ties optional). Our one request is no jeans :)

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thanks for understanding!

Although we would love to see their happy faces, we are only accommodating those kids listed on your invitations. Thanks again for understanding!

Where should I stay?
Answer
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Dahlonega. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast and there will be a shuttle to and from on the day of the wedding. You will receive a discounted rate. You must book by May 28, 2024.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! We will have a selection of wine, beer, and two wedding-themed cocktails!

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes - there is a large, open gravel lot that will accommodate everyone. There is also handicapped parking next to the venue.

How will I get back to the hotel?
Answer
There will be a shuttle bus that comes at the end of the night to take people to the Holiday Inn in downtown Dahlonega. Ubers and Lyfts are not common, so if you don't intend to use the shuttle service, please plan accordingly.

Will It Be Indoors Or Outdoors?
Answer
Both! The cocktail hour and ceremony will be held outdoors but under covering (a roof and shade sails, respectively). The reception will be indoors. A contingency plan for rain is also in place, and everything can move indoors if needed.
